I don't believe in coincidences.
That's not to say I believe in destiny. But, I don't believe in coincidences.
And I know our brains are wired to find patterns but maybe they're wired that way for a reason. The near-fractals in snowflakes come to mind. I know we're only a blip on the radar of time and space but the mere fact that things don't just stop existing out of nowhere makes me believe there is some type of order to our lives, or at least our existence.
I've told people that I feel lucky to have lived the life I have so far because it's fulfilled some of my own personal dreams in one way or another.
The fact that some of the worst times of my life lead to some of the best is cosmic irony at its finest. Someone will attribute it to having "nowhere to go but up" but it doesn't track when I analyze life from that angle.
Wether it be a strike or a downturn in business, I have this uncanny ability to try and insert myself somewhere right as the ship is starting to lose momentum. But maybe it has to slow down for me to hop aboard.
